Welfare Installations.

Pintec delivered the water and public health package for Barking Waste Transfer Station on a supply and install basis for the M&E contractor.

The work combined high level MDPE distribution to four hose reels with copper water services and drainage in the welfare facilities. Tank and booster connections supplied the main building’s hose reel network.

Our capabilities

MDPE Hose Reel Distribution

High level MDPE pipework with mechanical fittings, serving four hose reels positioned around the main building. Pintec installed, connected and tested all four reels.

Tank & Booster Connections

Pipework connections from the cold-water storage tank and booster set into the hose reel distribution.

Copper Welfare Services

Soldered end-feed copper pipework serving the welfare kitchen, WCs and accessible WC, together with the satellite WC.

Drainage & Fixture Connections

Above ground drainage and final water and waste connections within the welfare and satellite WC facilities.

03 / INSTALLATION

Installing at High Level.

Our IPAF trained operatives used scissor lifts to install the overhead MDPE pipework and drops to the hose reel positions. The welfare installations were carried out in the kitchen and washroom areas alongside the main building works.

The wider Cory development brings wharf facilities back into use for transferring residual waste onto river barges. Pintec’s package provides water and public health services for the transfer station and its staff facilities.
